cheqd Network Development
Background
cheqd is a market-leading technology solutions company whose mission is to give people and organizations the ability to control and understand the value of their own data. They hope to build a Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) network which would allow companies to build and deliver secure identity solutions. cheqd also required the development of a utility token that is the basis of the proof-of-stake algorithm the ledger is built on and also allows transction fees to be paid.
Cheqd called on DSR to assist in the development of their entire ecosystem, including a proof-of-stake SSI network, SSI transactions, ICO, token launch and the integration of the token with crypto exchange platforms.

The Solution
DSR contributed to the development of the Cheqd Ledger by leading in the design, development and implementation of most components. The platform consists of the application specific blockchain network and client SDK. The Cheqd ecosystem was built using Cosmos-SDK and Tendermint. As DSR has extensive experience in Blockchain and Self-sovereign Identity technologies, DSR designed, built, tested and implemented many components of the Cheqd network.

The Result
DSR contributed to the cheqd Network by developing a Proof-of-Stake Self-Sovereign Identity Network along with deploying and maintaing two persistent networks, Test Net and Main Net. DSR also developed the $CHEQ token, which is the basis of the Proof-of-Stake network and the method to pay fees in order to to interact with the ledger. DSR continues to support and maintain the codebase of the network.
