DSR Corporation Joins Agentic AI Foundation to Advance Open, Trusted Agentic AI

November 2nd, 2026

DSR Corporation (DSR) has joined the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), a Linux Foundation initiative, to support the advancement of open standards, interoperability, and trusted interactions between AI agents and systems.

As agentic AI becomes increasingly integrated into enterprise applications and workflows, the need for secure communication, verifiable identities, and interoperability across platforms is growing. DSR's membership builds on its longstanding commitment to open source development and brings its experience in decentralized identity, digital trust, and complex software systems to this emerging area of technology.

DSR has a history of contributing to open source projects and collaborating with industry organizations to advance shared technical standards. As a contributor to Linux Foundation projects, the company has played a significant role in developing, maintaining and adopting a number of LFDT and OWF projects related to decentralized identity, verifiable credentials, open standards, distributed ledgers and secure communication between systems.

DSR's involvement in agentic AI is already underway through its contribution to the Agent2Agent (A2A) project, where the company developed an experimental OID4VP In-Task Authorization Extension. The extension applies decentralized identity and verifiable credentials to support secure authorization between AI agents, building on DSR's experience in digital trust technologies. These capabilities are particularly relevant as AI agents gain the ability to independently perform tasks, exchange information, and interact with other agents and enterprise applications. Establishing identity, verifying credentials, managing permissions, and enabling trusted communication will be important to the broader adoption of agentic AI.

"AI agents will increasingly need ways to establish who they are interacting with, verify credentials, and determine whether another agent can be trusted," said Alexander Shcherbakov, Head of DSR Digital Trust Labs.

The Agentic AI Foundation brings together technology organizations, developers, and researchers to advance open protocols and open source projects for agentic AI. Its hosted initiatives include the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent2Agent (A2A), goose, AGENTS.md, and agentgateway, addressing different aspects of how AI agents connect with tools and data, communicate across systems, and operate within increasingly complex software environments.

Through its membership, DSR joins this collaborative effort to help advance open technologies that support the development and adoption of interoperable agentic AI systems. The company sees opportunities to apply its engineering expertise in digital trust, security, and distributed software systems as agentic AI technologies and standards continue to evolve.

DSR's participation in the Agentic AI Foundation extends its commitment to open source collaboration into the next generation of AI-driven applications, supporting an approach to agentic AI built on openness, interoperability, and trust.
